Hah, well, sometimes I am on IRC, so if you ever want to chat.. Yeah, I haven’t heard anything about the continuation of that gaiden. I am guessing we’ll have to wait until August/July/whenever the biyearly next issue is published?

I agree. I’m not sure what the best way to list them would be. Maybe by alphabetical order? Or family name? I’ll post information on this later to the LJ comm, and other communities (huh, are there other Saiunkoku groups?)

(BTW, what software is this? I’ve seen mediawiki, but I’ve never used it myself)

Unfortunately, we cooled down over the past year and at this point, I think I’m the only one who still keeps up with the series (ie. stalking the right sources of information) – but I’ve yet to find time to finish the latest novel that’s been collecting dust on the shelf. And there’s also the “Unmei no deau yoru” gaiden that I was dying to read but is still sitting on my desk (BTW, do you know if the kouhen is getting published anytime soon?). Must… find … time!

I just noticed it’s quite empty … orz. I guess I have to admit the only sections that were properly filled out were Reishin and Houju’s profile – and that was because they were our favorite characters. Haha.

I think one issue that came up was how to organize the characters (and other information from the series). Wikipedia JP lists them by the provinces which didn’t work too well (in my opinion) because people travel – a prime example being Yuushun who started out in Sa-shuu, then went to the capital and now we find out that he’s original from Kou.

Anyway, I’ll leave you to take a look for now – the wiki engine that is used to power the website is over a year old so I’ll have to update it – which means things will break. But I don’t want to spend the time to do that until I’m sure there’s enough interest to continue the project
