The title of the 4/1 book is “蒼き迷宮の巫女”, roughly translatable as “The Priestess of the Blue Maze” (although I like ‘Labyrinth” as well… I suppose I could also translate it as “The Priestess of the Azure Labyrinth” as that kanji is not the normal word for blue).
The summary given is: “Shuurei has awakened in the palace of the Hyou clan, who possess supernatural powers. Because she must meet the high priestess Ruka in order to leave the sealed-off palace, she seeks Shusui, who possesses the power “Senrigan” (thousand-league-eye). Meanwhile, in the capital, is the worst locust plague in history beginning….?! “
I wonder who will make the cover this time? Shuurei is always on the cover, and since Shusui is mentioned, I suspect she might be as well (possibly also Shuuei?) However, maybe some of the characters from the capital will also be depicted. Anyway, I’m glad to hear that the author hasn’t forgotten Shusui. XD

I don’t know, it seems like it’s going to be the Hyou clan this time. I have some hopes that the Ran clan might come in near the end, and possibly they’ll do some more stuff with the Heki clan (the Kou clan is always in the spotlight, also), but as for the other lcans, there doesn’t seem to be much emphasis on them.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find the summary kind of perplexing. Isn’t Shusui’s power the ability to see things far away? I don’t really see how that will help Shuurei leave the Hyou clan. Also, hasn’t Shuurei already met Ruka?
That being said, I am glad we’ll be seeing more of Shusui.

She has, but not in the flesh. She’s met like… a spirit projection of Ruka, not Ruka in either her original or current body. But yeah, I’m not really understanding what’s going on. Why would Ruka need Shusui to help Shuurei find something? Unless Shuurei is going to be going up against Ruka, and that’s why she needs Shusui’s help? Or Ruka is like testing Shuurei?

Is book 16 the final book or will there be more? Also thank you for the translations it seems your the only one that does this story regularly and the anime cut off early so I'm really happy you continued the light novels, thanks!
